Count without counting
A tasbih that keeps your place, and 86 adhkar and duas from the Sunnah, each with its source and grade. Your phone answers each tap, so you can count without looking.
- 100after each prayer
- 6dhikr to count
- 86adhkar and duas
- 7sections

One hundred, in three steps
Tasbih has its own tab. Choose “After prayer” and it counts SubhanAllah 33, Alhamdulillah 33 and Allahu akbar 34. Tap anywhere on the circle. When a step is done, the ring turns green and the words under the count name the next step, and your next tap moves you on, so no step slips past unseen.
- One hundred, then again. After the 34th Allahu akbar the circle says “One hundred · tap to begin again”, and the next tap starts a new round at SubhanAllah.
- Felt as well as seen. Count by feel, below, sets out what your phone does at each tap, and what −1 and “Start again” do.
Try the three steps
Tap the circle, or focus it and press Enter. It counts as the app does. Nothing is saved.
- SubhanAllah 33
- Alhamdulillah 33
- Allahu akbar 34
SubhanAllahGlory be to Allah
SubhanAllah, 0 of 33.
On a phone, each tap is felt. Here, it is only seen.
The count of 33, 33 and 34 is the one in this hadith, which is also in the app’s “In and after prayer” section.
Ka‘b ibn ‘Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are certain things, the sayer of which – or the performer of which – after every prescribed prayer will never be disappointed: Tasbīh (saying 'Subhānallāh') thirty-three times, Tahmīd (saying 'Al-hamdulillāh') thirty-three times, and Takbīr (saying 'Allāhu Akbar') thirty-four times."

Six dhikr, counted your way
Besides the after-prayer count, you can choose one of six phrases and how far to count. Each shows its Arabic, how it is said and what it means, exactly as below.
- After prayer · 33
SubhanAllahGlory be to Allah - After prayer · 33
AlhamdulillahAll praise is for Allah - After prayer · 34
Allahu akbarAllah is the Greatest
La ilaha illallahThere is no god but Allah
AstaghfirullahI seek Allah’s forgiveness
Allahumma salli ʿala MuhammadO Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
- 33
- 99
- 100
- No limit
With no limit, the ring fills every 33. Changing the phrase or the target starts the count from zero; today’s count and the all-time total carry on.
Count by feel
Each moment feels different under your thumb, so you know where you are with your eyes lowered. And the counts are kept, so you can put the phone down and come back.
What your phone does
- Each tap
A light tap. On the counter and on each entry in the adhkar.
- Each 33
A firmer tap, when you count with no limit, so you can feel each 33 go by.
- A round done
The phone’s success buzz, which feels unlike a tap: at 33, 99 or 100, and at the end of each of the three after-prayer steps.
What Khalis keeps
- Today
Every tap today, whichever phrase you are saying. It starts from zero on a new day.
- All time
Every tap since you began, kept on your phone and included in your backup file. With iCloud sync on iPhone, it adds up the taps from each of your devices.
- −1
Takes back the last tap, from the count, today and all time together.
- Start again
Puts the count back to zero and the after-prayer count back to SubhanAllah. Today and all time stay as they are.
“Who have believed and whose hearts have rest in the remembrance of Allah. Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest!”
86 hadiths of remembrance, with their sources
Below the counter, “Adhkar and duas” opens a list for morning and evening, sleep, prayer and more, from the Sunnah. Each entry is a hadith from HadeethEnc.
- Arabic, with English if you want it. English is on when you open the list; turn it off to read the Arabic alone.
- The Prophet’s words stand out. In the Arabic, the words HadeethEnc marks as his are in darker text than the narration around them.
- Source and grade under every entry, as HadeethEnc gives them: “Narrated by Muslim · Authentic”, for example.
- A counter on each entry. Tap “Count” to keep track of one you repeat, and hold it to start again. These counts are not saved: they clear when you go back from the list.

Seven sections
The 86 entries sit in seven sections, in this order along the top of the list. Tap a section to show its entries.
| Section | Entries |
|---|---|
| Morning and evening | 7 |
| Sleeping and waking | 7 |
| In and after prayer | 23 |
| Home, mosque and bathroom | 5 |
| Hard times | 4 |
| Remembrance at any time | 8 |
| Duas from the Sunnah | 32 |
| In all | 86 |
One entry, exactly as stored
From “Remembrance at any time”. In the app it sits under its title, with a “Count” button beside the source.
Jābir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The best dhikr is lā ilāha illa Allah (there is no god but Allah), and the best supplication is Alhamdulillah (praise be to Allah)."
Hadiths, English translations, attributions and grades are from HadeethEnc.com, the Encyclopedia of Translated Prophetic Hadiths, and are shown in the app and on this page unchanged. Khalis took them from its API (v1) on 28 October 2026.
Asked and answered
Does Khalis keep my place if I close it?
Yes. The count, the step you are on, today’s count and the all-time total are saved on your phone as you tap, and are there when you come back.
Do the tasbih and adhkar need a connection?
No. The counter and the 86 adhkar and duas are inside the app, so they work offline.
Do my counts go anywhere?
They are kept on your phone. They go with a backup file you choose to save, and with iCloud sync on iPhone, which is off until you turn it on. On Android, if you have turned on your phone’s backup to your Google account, Android can include them in it, as it can for most apps. The counts on adhkar entries are not saved at all.
Where do the adhkar come from?
From HadeethEnc.com, unchanged. There is more on where everything in Khalis comes from on the sources and credits page.
